Details: An original painting, unframed, 9x11.5 inches, colored pencil outline under high quality watercolor on cold-pressed (textured) paper. Artist's signature clearly visible in gray pen.
Inspiration: This piece is the climax and crown jewel of its collection. I actually began the sketch for her first, before any of the others! I was nervous about laying down paint, so I started the journey through the others before returning and finishing her.
For me this painting truly represents flourishing, thriving, breathing.
She encourages the observer to take a deep, fresh breath and to stay true to oneself. There's a sense of freedom and peace that she radiates, and it's accompanied by joy.
She represents the serenity of being present, while also delighting in what lies ahead with optimissism and confidence.
Framing: I imagine this painting matted or floating over a mat in a natural or stark white to highlight the blues and best showcase the detail. I'd set it in a frame that complements your home’s aesthetic, maybe in a vintage or modern metalic, or maybe a light wood.
